Harlingen Arts & Heritage Museum
This museum is interesting to see. When you first go into the museum you are welcomed by an art gallery room and a room full of artifacts of what an office would look like in the early 1900's. It was okay to see but the real part of the museum was after the first building. You walk outside and you get to visit Harlingen's first hospital, the Paso Real Stagecoach Inn, and the home of Lon C. Hill (Harlingen's town founder). You get to walk into the buildings and learn about the history of Harlingen.
This museum was a good experience and fun to take if you are bored. I promise you will get amused. At the time I went to the museum admission was free! I believe there was another section to the museum outside but that part of the museum was closed.
